Be advised that att is cracking down on people who use prepaid cards instead of credit cards. They disable auto pay if pay in full using prepaid cards and you lose auto pay credit. Happened to me on my two accounts and also it was discussed on Reddit

Thank you. Thumbs up. I have amex and boa cc that offer 3% for online purchases. In the past I have had cc troubles when ordering these cards and sometimes gave up. What is the trick to ordering a substantial amount? I have 10 cricket lines and pay $250 a month total.

Just FYI, this has not given 3% for me with BofA the last few times, although prior to that it did. Never tried with Amex.

Cracking down? There is nothing wrong with using a prepaid card and getting an auto-pay discount. I got a text message about the auto-pay not being successful. I immediately logged into my account and turned it back on. I got the discount, but hopefully it's not an ongoing issue.
Need $50 cards since we are splitting a $100 plan with the in-laws. I'll just wait for another Target offer.
Target has buy 1 get 1 10% off starting Sunday. I tried this Kroger deal and they were trying to charge me tax, so not much in savings. I'm waiting for the Target deal too.

I think AT&T is the only prepaid service that charges tax on top of the posted rate. I don't even need a deal to benefit from using prepaid cards, I save on tax alone.
