I agree with what everyone has said. If you're strong and serious enough about squatting that you're really doing well over 300 pounds, then you better be ready to spend more than $70.
Also, if you aren't yet, but planning on working up to something higher, start with this, and when you're really ready to be repping more than 300 lbs, you can easily offload this on FB Marketplace or Craigslist for this much.
People in here trying to give safety advice are probably doing kettlebell workouts.
Go watch Chinese Olympic lifters squatting 600 lbs from sketchier racks if you want some reassurance

No definitely not talking about spotting arms. If you use that, its at your own peril.
*little hard to put on right place after few sets of press because it's narrow and too tight fit
My elbow hit on stop holders (I don't know what it's call exactly) sometime
Really good if you are not push limit heavy lifter

I agree with what everyone has said. If you're strong and serious enough about squatting that you're really doing well over 300 pounds, then you better be ready to spend more than $70.
Also, if you aren't yet, but planning on working up to something higher, start with this, and when you're really ready to be repping more than 300 lbs, you can easily offload this on FB Marketplace or Craigslist for this much.
I'm looking for something so I can bench heavy at home. I have 2 fears/ needs
1. Safety arms to be there when doing bench (flat incline decline)
2 when I benching and placing the weight back on the rack I fear with this type of rack i could over shoot where the weights go….if that makes sense. Usually at the gym when returning the bar k lift as high as I can then lean it back. I feel this one requires more control when returning the bar
Thoughts? Experience?
