I would not recommend walmart+. Seems like about 75% of the items I want they either won't ship or require a scheduled delivery (which usually either requires or strongly requests a tip). I honestly find myself hardly ever using walmart+ because of this caveat. I'll be discontinuing my service next go-round if that doesn't change. Feel like it was a bait and switch when they promised free shipping and then it turned out it was only on select items.

Not sure but I always find Walmart a bit wonky.

I don't have the + account and I wanted to order an $1 item for pickup. It was not available but free delivery was available. They had someone drive from a neighboring Walmart just to deliver me a $1 item. Not that I'm complaining. I think the gas and time of the employee exceeds that $1 item. Lol

Dont forget that you will also need to tips driver/ adding roughly $5/delivery on top of your grocery. Also with walmart plus you can prescan items for instore shopping, however you still need to get in line to check out cuz its not allowing self checkout, which is different from Samclub.
Walmart does grocery delivery?

Amazon stopped it.

Different subscriptions but

W+ gives you free delivery on orders $35+, free Paramount+ account, save 10c a gallon on gas at participating places, free shipping (no minimum) and probably some other stuff.

We typically get a grocery delivery a week or so. It's great to not go inside Walmart, ours here has less than stellar cashiers. Our delivery drivers are always excellent though. You don't have to tip, but we opt to.

I would keep my W+ membership over Amazon. I can get free 2 day on Amazon if I spend over $25 which isn't hard. I find W+ to be more beneficial mainly due to the grocery delivery.
If one does NOT have walmart+ and wants delivery to home and if the order is $35, can they get free delivery? or can they find the same number of slots as a walmart+ member would have?

Amazon did not stop it, they just started charging for it, rather than free delivery being part of Prime.

Can anyone who received the offer share how long ago they used Walmart for same-day delivery? and if they were previously signed up on a monthly basis or for a year?

Just wondering if we can figure out who they are targeting with this offer, and if we can try to trigger this offer ourselves.

Thanks!

(I haven't received the offer, and only used the initial trial offer and cancelled, and then a few months later signed up for a month and canceled.)
My + membership ended in Feb this year if that helps. I did get the offer and signed up again.

I am offered 6 months free for rejoining so $49/yr. It's the middle of the main page. Ha! When I tried to renew, I received a "technical issue-try back later" message. When I went back about 10 minutes later, there was no offer. I think I just dodged a bullet! Saved $49 at least.

Checked my email this evening and received an email from Walmart welcoming me to Walmart+. I'll have to figure out how to get my $4.09/mo out of this membership.

For a hot minute now a lot of the stuff on their site isn't available via the shipping method and I don't have a Walmart near by.

Walmart vs Amazon: one issue you must consider if you live rural:

unless your town has a dedicated Amazon delivery - Amazon Prime uses the USPS for the final delivery. USPS won't bring packages larger than a rural mailbox to your door - even if it's 20 feet away.

Walmart however always uses FedEx and they do a great job here. BIG issue for many small towns and rural customers.
USPS certainly does deliver to the door in a lot of rural areas. Pretty sure I'm more rural than most here. Households average miles apart. Village with 200 people is 15 miles. Walmart is 75. My post office that the mail carrier is from is 35 miles. My lane is 1/4 mile, many people have longer than that. Anything too big for the box gets to the door. Same for anyone I know (multiple post offices). In fact, there has been a few times with things like certified mail (or whatever requiring signing) where I've been called or texted to see if I'd be in the yard. Or calls to see if the county road had been plowed yet. Things like that are common out here.

Amazon prime takes a minimum week for any delivery here, a few days just processing. Walmart takes at most 3 or 4, basic shipping, not plus. I'm not seeing much benefit for plus out here. I don't order often, or small orders. And there isn't a station around that takes the gas discount.

I usually pickup about $300 in groceries in a month from them that fills up my SUV. They'll actually deliver that to me for $6.50 a month? Do they bring it in the house or place it on the porch?

It's well worth it if you don't want to go into walmart. Tipping is fine too.
