Great price, but it's a garbage TV in terms of software. All of these Vizios are slow / buggy and have issues with crashing / backlight not turning off / freezing.

With that said, picture quality is excellent, other than some minor blooming on some high brightness images (IE: a white circle on a black background) and mediocre upscaling.

Plan on using an AppleTV or NVIDIA Shield with it for the best experience.
Roku and you've got a bomb setup

Who buys Tv's like this for the software? If someone claims there is blooming with white images I can assure you that it is not noticeable. I thoroughly tested this TV yesterday it is very nice. I've had no issues using the built in Apps. No freezes, No crashes, nothing...

I have mine hooked to my PC. No better way to watch content than that..Playstation 5 would also work great to use for content. Whatever way you cut it for $500 you will be sure to regret it for the next year if you're on the fence.
For sure. The price makes it attractive. I've got a 75" PQX and it's been a nice TV, but I'd never buy another Vizio again. But, to be fair, I'm not shopping at a $500 price point for a 65" TV, so there's that.

LG has been the only TV software that's been decent, but they're all mediocre at best. I spent around $1000 for my OLED and it's got great sharpness and contrast, it's just not nearly as bright.

Different strokes for different folks, as they say.

Rtings shows a photo with a narrow stand for table use, but does not mention it in the text as it normally does. Can anyone verify that the stand feet can be placed in a narrow position? Thanks

Upgrade now. Almost unheard of price point, and big upgrade.

Yes feet are close together compared to most other TV's, also has a rubber part on top of feet to sit your soundbar on.. Works great!

It's easy to make a snarky comment like this, but I also have an old P series 65inch Vizio and the software crashing also affects the TV when you aren't using the built-in apps. It affects the entire operation of the TV. It will randomly shut off and take 3-5 reboots to get it working again.

It's still a fantastic TV when it works alright, just a big annoyance rebooting so many times. Especially when you have a toddler screaming to watch TV.

So it's an OS deep crash. I think from Vizio updating the TVs so many times.

I would still buy another in a heartbeat especially at a great price. And the Costco warranty helps (mine started crashing after the Costco warranty).

Snarky? Really? I feel it was informative and realistic.

I also have an old P-Series that I was using up to yesterday when I replaced it. With my old TV there may have been times I have to choose reboot from the settings menu but it was a quick and simple fix for a unit that worked great for 16 hours a day on all the time and still looked like new, I feel that was worth the small inconvenience of a 3 second reboot once or twice a month.

Like you said you would buy this in a heartbeat based on how well it worked even with your issues you had with your old P-Series.

Got one at Costco Mountain View in the Bay Area. Still 3 left. 3 more at Costco Sunnyvale and 7 at Costco in San Leandro. All are in the Bay Area. Added 3 years Allstate warranty for $35. Total 6 years warranty.

Good luck.

This or the u7h. Pretty close call on rtings. Anyone has an experience with both?
Hisense, hands down. As others have mentioned, usability is a massive issue with Vizio TVs, including this one. The screens are pretty comparable, but the Vizio will constantly crap out to the point you'll want to throw it out because it becomes so frustrating you can't even use it. Generally there's always a little bit of sacrifice you have to make with smart TV operating systems and interfaces, but Vizio is just way behind the curve.

I have a vizeo P quantum with firetv and roku. I have never had that problem. I DO agree the vizio software is horrid. If you plan to use the TV software don't buy it. If you plan to hook it to a dvd player (with upscaling), roku, firetv etc it is great. Also sound quality on this tv stinks. I have yet to see a flat tv that did not have trash sound.

In short, use the money you save to buy a roku and a soundbar Smilie

Omg scored one!! Thank you! I have the old p65-f1 and it still works as good as brand new but can't pass up an upgrade this cheap
I hate my p65-f1 for how it tries to force me to use its native os and how slow it is as a result so I disconnected it from the internet and use a chromecast instead. Told myself I'd never get another vizio, but this is a great price for a qled.
