FYI Target is once again offering a free $10 Target gift card when you spend at least $100 in Apple gift cards online or in stores. The deal is valid 4/2 thru 4/8 according to page 6 of the weekly ad preview:

RedCard holders can save an additional $4.50. The discount is not equal to 5% ($5) because Target assigns a $10 charge to the "free" gift card and $90 for the remaining balance owed. Therefore RedCard 5% is based on $90 so the discount equals $4.50.

P.S. Apple has a limit of $2000 to be saved to your Apple Account Balance (*I believe*) + an additional 4 gift cards during checkout when using the Apple Store app, but the website checkout still allows 8. An individual gift card can also not exceed $2000.

Called Apple, they said some lock on my account and needs to be reviewed by backend team takes 24hrs. Also, told me that if the backend team review comes negative I have to close this account and open new one and forfeit the complete the apple balance.

This is the type of thing I have read about in the eneba threads when folks get bad codes from them (after the hassle of trying to work it out), their Apple account gets locked.
Target is an auth Apple GC reseller. IDK about eneba. Never researched them other than reading their threads here.

After almost 2 weeks of discussion with many Apple CSRs, finally able to place order.
No one at Apple knew what the issue was. Apple gave me $50 off on the order as compensation.I tried these things with apple CSR which made it work,
Gift card redemption at Apple requires valid payment method on Apple account.
Billing address on apple account should match with the credit card that you are using (along with GC).
