Some of these comments are comical. Everyone knows that you are not getting OLED quality for a TV of this size at this price. The people who are considering this TV are not enamored by the best quality picture. Some people are satisfied with a very large TV that has decent enough quality to enjoy TV shows and movies. They are not looking for anything more than that. We all know you can spend more (at this size A LOT more) to get a TV with a better picture. That is not in some people's budget. They may not be looking for anything close to OLED quality and there is nothing wrong with that. Nor are they looking to get a better quality 65" TV at this price either. This is a solid 86" TV for less than $1,100. Nothing more, nothing less.

For what it's worth, I returned this tv. The colors are off. The picture is good in bright scenes but is very poor in dark scenes. The animations in normal movies look fake.

I had the same sentiment and ended up returning it for the Sony 850…. Night and day difference…. Picture quality was terrible on this no matter what mode I put it in

Looking at them in warehouse always amazes me how dim LG's LCD panels are compared to their competitors, which is so ironic because their OLED panels almost universally regarded as the best

I bought a cheap tv a few years ago, and should have returned it. It is just awful. The color is so muddy, and dark. Would you buy your Sony again? I am just starting out on my search. Thank you so much!

I saw the 77' in Costco, and was interested. Now I am wondering....I am afraid of getting a tv that has muddyy/dark colors.
