Looks like the same one I posted earlier + the 10% Coupon. Great price for a full powered RTX 4080 Laptop and HX series Processor. Don't think any other laptops are available at this price with similar configuration. Also, the reviews in Notebookcheck is pretty decent apart from being loud and a bit on the warmer side, and it can actually maintain the full TDP of the CPU and GPU during load. + 1 from me.

Good price for the specs, but I do t think you can compare this to the other 4080 laptops with i9-13900HX, i9-13950HX, or i9-13980HX. This is the first 4080 laptop I've seen with an i7.

- The i9 processors have 8 more Efficiency cores (total 32 threads) and boost to 5.4ghz or more.

- This i7 processor has 24 threads and boosts to 5ghz.

- This laptop screen brightness and refresh rate are on the lower side to the other big Flagships.

Unless you just want to stare at benchmarks all day, I doubt a normal person would see the difference, in performance, on day to day use or even in gaming. But, its not an apples to apples comparison to the other 4080 laptops for the price.

Regarding the display, check the review in Notebookcheck. It goes well over 300-nits, around 370-nits.

370 is definitely better, and is livable to me, but for a couples grand I'd rather pay a couple hundred more and get a actual nice screen, this one might be passable but it's not going to be great either

Based on which you're just saying it is passable? I know Lenovo's Legion Pro lineup has 500-nits display but the auality of the display depends on color gamut coverage, contrast ratio and color Accuracy and literally all the laptops in this price bracket, including Alienware M16, Omen 17 and Legion 5 and 7 Pro, come with same 100% sRGB and around 70% DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB color gamut and 1000:1 contrast ratio. The quality is excactly same.

Some higher tier laptops like Asus ROG Strix series, Zephyrus M series do offer higher quality display with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and I am referring the normal IPS version, not the mini LED backlit ones but their price is at least $500 to $600 more than this one.
You think that price is justified, go ahead but for most people, for this price, the display more than enough.

There are multiple ROG Strix versions released in 2023. You need to be a bit specific about the model you're referring.

It's a $2K laptop, why can't they just include more ram.

They could, but they'd probably have to disassemble and/or unbox these things as they already have an order probably built and entering the supply chain by now. And people are still buying them (though with this kind of power I think 32GB is much more reasonable even if most games should run in 32GB)

nobody is buying this product, so the price will keep dropping to 1500 or even less than that.
Just wait for couple more months

The option to have 32GB RAM is actually there - on the same screen where all the rest of customizations described by topic starter are made, i.e. for screen, keyboard, wifi module etc... It does add $140 to the price before code though

Thanks for following up. It's interesting to see where the price breaks happen with different machine configurations.
