$200 less in-store (if you can find it) = $1899

Dang I saw this locally at full price and liked it but now it's sold out. Tempted to just get it online.

I really want something like this but upon reading into them I'd just be cautious if you live in a windy or snow central area as I couldn't find any load ratings. They recommend removing snow from the structure pronto but that isn't always practical.

I believe that's going to be $400 off the online price starting next week at Costco.

How would this do near a shoreline?

I've wanted to do something DIY there.. I've had estimates and they want over $14k because they said all of these things they MUST do.. full dock repair cost the same so going to skip on that but something like this I wouldn't mind doing.

I guess the question is, with concrete poured at each pillar, would it be enough to keep it in place or would there need to be an entire slab. A slab, I would have to get permission from the county and it would be swiftly denied but small concrete is okay.

I have one of these from Costco, from about 5 years ago.

I did a concrete pillar for each of the posts, with bedded pavers underneath.

Overall, it has held up as expected, no complaints.

HOWEVER - it is a real bear to assemble. I hired two very sharp guys to do it, and it took them 2 full days. A third person is probably a good idea, and maybe even a 4th as you assemble the roof. I DIY almost everything, but these are like building a small house. Expect to pay ~$2K in labor costs just to prep/assemble.

$200 to not have to leave your house and source a truck to get it. Kinda seems worth it if you don't own a capable vehicle.
