$429 with Milanese loop is amazing deal. I came from a 4SS and bought a used/mint 7SS about a year ago for $550. The 4 has a $30 trade in now at Apple and T-Mobile, it's ridiculous. Graphite looks awesome.
As you may recall, 5 added always on, 6 added oxygen sensor, 7 added a 1mm size, 8 added the temperature "indicator" and crash detection. 4 and up have 64-bit chipset, 5 and up have the potential for international roaming. Anything else was not really noteworthy.
I have gotten used to the always on display and would not want to miss it now but the 4 otherwise did the trick for health and fitness. I don't find the O2 sensor to be too accurate. the graphite with the Milanese loop looks super elegant, IMHO. But for anyone still on aluminum, this may be the time to upgrade. the SS with sapphire glass is built like a tank and so far has held up amazingly well.
When you receive the watch, put it on the charger and just walk away for the afternoon.... these things have been sitting so long the batteries are super dead. Have bought several in my family and each one had the green snake of death. But leaving on the charger long enough wakes it up and no issues once fully charged.
Walmart.com[walmart.com] also has 45mm Apple Watch Series 7 GPS + Cellular w/ Milanese Loop (Graphite Stainless Steel) on sale for $429. Shipping is free
If these watches have been sitting in a warehouse for 18 months will that significantly decrease battery health?
When I ordered my SS Series 7 from the last deal a month or so ago, the battery was completely dead. However, it charged fine and has been holding charge like it should. No issues with mine.
Got the 41mm SS Series 7 a month ago, couldn't be happier. I'm getting fantastic battery life (2 days with everything on except AoD), and it looks freaking awesome.

Just ordered a SS silver with Milanese. I've had a AW 6 Nike aluminum for almost two years now and joining the stainless club finally. Can't wait to rock it
Same here. I watched a lot of the YouTube video and it seems silver is noticeably different while graphite looks more like a shiny space grey. I placed the order for silver hoping that's what it looks like in person too.

I am also placing an order for Silver ss as the graphite looks like shiny space grey 👍
Tough decision. Bought my 4 SS pre-owned for ~$250 3 years ago and now its worth $120 on ebay or $70 on electronics purchasing websites. This is technically 46% off the price of a new Series 8 equivalent.
