I have one of these...way better than the wood ones with nail-like teeth in them for the comb. I've had it for several years, works great. Threw some of the other stuff away since I liked this one so much, it's stainless so it doesn't rust. Great for the rollers (big and small). Probably not as good as a metal brush for the paint brushes BUT I also got some cheap tile/mortar brushes made out of nylon with really thick bristles and they work fantastic for grabbing the paint from the paint brush. I use the comb first to open up the brush to help irrigate excess paint out and then the nylon brush later to grab excess paint that refuses to rinse out with the water. Anyway..works for me, if there is a better way I'm always all ears. This in my opinion is the worst part of painting...clean up! If you have good tools and processes that help then it's not so bad.

Nah, you just have to soak the roller after the initial rinse. Let it sit in a bucket full of water for an hour or so, wring it out, let it dry, and it's as good as new. Or almost ... I routinely get 4-5 jobs out of my good rollers before they start to come apart.

You can't go wrong with a stainless steel wire brush.
