I grabbed it. Lowest price ever for digital. Something odd is going on. This game is leaving Game Pass even though it's published by Xbox Studios. Then a 1 day sale. Just speculation, but this game may be delisted. It was released on 4/5/2016. Possible some type of licensing for the game is expiring.

Quantum Break is being "temporarily removed" from Game Pass, Xbox exec Aaron Greenberg has confirmed.

In response to a question asking whether other Xbox exclusives will leave Game Pass at some point, Greenberg stated Quantum Break is being removed due to expired licenses. Once the licenses have been renewed, the game will return to Game Pass, Greenberg assured.

There's no word on when the game will disappear from the Xbox Game Pass catalogue, or for how long.

Don't worry Quantum Break will be coming back to Game Pass. It is being temporarily removed due to some licenses that expired that were in the process of being renewed. Will let you know as soon as it is back.

Great game, a little short, does a wonderful job of being narrative deep without feeling like you are watching as opposed to playing. Very similar gameplay to "Control" without the hours wandering aimlessly hoping your accidently find the next place you are supposed to go.

Microsoft said a licensing issue is forcing them to pull it for a little while but they're renegotiating and hope to bring it back in the near future

i'm playing it on steam and the screen space reflections are poor during movement. it's less distracting if i turn them off.

i am enjoying the 3840x1600 with 120fps in ultrawide on my 77" OLED. definitely need to use the game's upscaler, though.
