Really enjoyed this show. Got it on iTunes and watch it a couple of times a year. The series ended rather abruptly, and left me hanging. I believe they planned for one more season to wrap up all the storylines but were cancelled before they could do it. A pity!

I remember this was well liked when it was on years ago. I picked up DVDs back then, so I probably will skip this one, despite ultimately wanting to declutter more... Good deal regardless though, I think. Thumbs up for the find.

We're rewatching this show and Seal Team at the same time. Seal Team is like an updated version of this, less wives storylines and more production value/modern obviously. I enjoy both. The dialogue on The Unit is very David Mamet-ish: "You, you and you, be afraid. The rest of you, follow me."

I enjoyed this show back when it aired. Hard to go wrong for the price if you know you're going to watch it. Just a heads up: all 4 Seasons are available on Hulu. I may check out an episode or two first to see how it holds up.

Way too much family drama in this series and not in a realistic way. I mean, I get it missions don't happen constantly, training is always happening and rarely the cool stuff, but this just seemed like drama show and not a military one.

I just couldn't buy any of it as grounded in any type of reality in my experience. I was recommended this when I joined Group, but ended up fast forwarding it a lot.

How do I know it isn't grounded in reality? I was in a Group for 6 years and still have a personal friend in CAG who was in X315 before he went to THE Selection in WV for the Assaulter course.
