Lol I get mine from the dollar store and it works fine. I guess if you need one approved for backpacking and you are getting pizza delivery in the wild this might be good.

The premium is for the name stamped on it, which is what brand conscious shoppers look for at stores like REI. Just like $50 Yeti cups that do the same thing as $10 Ozark Trail.

There certainly can be differences. I have water bottles from Ozerk trail, RTIC, yeti, Otterbox, HydroFlask, etc. The Yeti functions the best. I use my others as well, but I notice the differences. That said it is not for everyone. Dismissing things as "brand conscious:" demonstrates a poor understanding of functional differences. That poor understanding is epidemic among slickdealers it seems. Like saying that WalMart clothes are "just as good" as Arcteryx or another expensive brand. If that is not for you, or you fail to understand the difference, then why post about it? Why not move on to something that is for you?
