I ordered one last night. And after doing some research I ordered two Digimon X pets as well, they're a little bit more expensive but are supposedly way better with a lot more features including a RPG-like Quest mode. I ordered a Tamagotchi Pix Party too, because I didn't know Tamagotchi's were in color now and it looks awesome

the Digimon X ones are pretty cool, but keep in mind that the X's have WAY less digimon on them, digimon x version 1's have about 30 potential digimon to evolve into, where as the version 20th's as listed above in OP's have over 115 potential digimon. X version 2's have around 45, so they're a bit nicer. But agreed, the quest mode is pretty fun. The thing about it though is that once you run through it one time, everything stays unlocked, so you can't exactly do it "again", only sort of repeat whatever you've already completed. There's also an exclusive digimon evolution that's tied to connecting the corresponding opposite digimon x to unlock.

they both have there pros and cons, i like em both. the sales these things are having lately make em super worth having for nostalgia's sake even though they're not exactly like how they were when we were kids. I'd argue the changes they've made make them infinitely more engaging and enjoyable than they were back then. I can not lie, i have about 8 of the version 20th's and each of the digimon x version 1's for collections sake. Haven't spent more than 100 bucks on the whole set thanks to these sales.
