Did you pick up an extended warranty? I'm still debating if the burn-in protection is necessary if we just watch movies once in a while on this.

I'd get something like Upsie for the first couple of years at least.. I believe its about $50 per yr or you could sign up for a monthly plan. Steelers 1986 posted about it here.. worth looking in to!

From what I can tell, they are LG refurbished. Micro center does offer an extended warranty, but they don't cover burn-in (I've had multiple direct conversations with them about this), which is the primary concern. For that matter, LG doesn't officially cover burn-in on the regular warranty either.

Yes, they are refurb'd by LG. But, Microcenter does have burn in coverage for $299/2yrs .. Will post the print out later today.

I got one from the microcenter today, has about 237 hours on it and a dead pixel, the cursor on the remote does not work Frown
Yeah there's a few dead pixels on mine but they are not visible while watching anything. It's hard to get a panel nowadays that is 100% dead pixel free. When you say the cursor on your remote is not working are you referring to the pointer? My other LG OLED I bought years ago has a pointer on the magic remote you can control by waving the remote around, I haven't seen it on this new C2 but I got to play with it more.

There's a setting in the menu to enable it. I find it pretty annoying tbh!

Picked up the refurb from Microcenter.. TV has about 86 hrs usage.. Everything was packed like new, except no batteries for the remote or printed manual lol.. no big deal but just pointing it out.

While checking out, the cashier did mention extended warranty and when I specifically asked about 'burn-in coverage' he said it's covered and gave me a print out stating that clearly as well ( will take and attach pic later )

That plan is for 2 yrs / $299 and covers burn-in! You have 30 days to buy it if not at the POS.

Still playing around with the settings, but for now.. cable ( ATT Uverse ) generally sucks ( as expected ) .. Oh, you must enable 4K for each HDMI input ( it's off by default! ) It gets plenty bright and I have it in a very bright room with huge windows to it's left ( facing West ) and visibility, thus far, is a non issue!

Also received my Samsung 75" QN90B ( Samsung EPP/AAA deal - now expired ) this morning! Applause

Excited to set it up and compare to the LG C2 Cool
Where did you go to enable 4k for each HDMI input? I haven't noticed that was something you had to enable.

Settings - All Settings - General - Devices - HDMI Settings - Deep Color ( You'll see it OFF by default, enable 4K here ) Needs to be done for every HDMI input.

Pressing the home and settings button together fixed the pointer. It's working now

So, in case anyone is interested.. I briefly compared the Samsung 75 QN90B ( mini LED ) with the 77 C2 and, in my and a couple of friends' opinion, the C2 blows the Samsung out of the water, except for brightness ( we all knew that .. )

Both TVs were compared side by side, same settings ( as much as possible : my own, and then copied from rtings.com ), with the same cable / roku / blu ray / YT programs, music videos etc and my living room is pretty bright ( huge sliding doors to the left side ( West ) of the TVs

The Samsung is also ridiculously heavy in comparison!
The LG is a keeper for sure! Applause

I've been waiting for the Costco 77" C2 to drop with a 5 year warranty. I've watched this refurb for the past month it was $1899, went up to $1999 for several weeks then to $1799.

For those wondering on Microcenter extended warranty cost, at least in Midwest this was the quote:
$299 3 year (w screen protection);
$269 4 year (without screen protection)
$189 2 year (without screen protection)

From other threads the screen protection may or may not cover burn-in. After my Sony lasted 19 months I'll get as long a warranty as possible, haven't decided on this refurb with the C2's hopefully dropping. Convince me to wait 😀
Lasted 19 months? What did you do to that tv. I've had oleds for a while and never had burn in. Seems like you're one of those people that shouldn't own oleds haha

You literally couldn't pay me 1,799 to drive out of state to lug a refurbished 77 oled tv back in a vehicle. Can literally achieve the same thing , better deal, better tv, with about 3-4 taps on my cell phone while never leaving the couch. No extra warranty and no idea where or who refurbished lol is this a joke
It's refurbished by LG, you get a minimum 90 day warranty but some users are saying 1 year upon registering with LG. Get the facts before you post.

Just an update to this post. A few hours after setting up a vertical line appeared on the screen. Most likely will have to be returned.
