My go-to has been this Woods product for ~$5: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

So if you need two, $7.50 is a good deal. I kind of can't get enough of these flat plug extensions.
you are MUCH better off buying these:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HJDATM
they often sale under $5 and use a much better
gauge, thick flexible jacket and far longer cord.
i must have accumulated a dozen of these by now.
If I remember correct, you may be able to get a similar item at Dollar Tree for $1.25 per item.

If it's the power cord Im thinking about (and purchase many of) those are only a foot, foot and half at most.

Given how many house fires are started by overloaded extension cords and power strips I don't understand why the NEC doesn't require a fuse or circuit breaker included in every one sold, or why UL passes them given that they're so frequently abused and misused. This isn't a concern for non-idiots, but not everyone is that.

Other countries do require this, like the UK.

The dromedary seems to have missed these sales.
Both of these products seem to be 16 gauge.
The Woods cord is indeed longer, by 2 feet: 8' vs. 6'.
It's difficult to compare the "jackets" but they look similar.

According to NFPA, 63% of electric fires are due to arcing.
In plain English: don't trust your outlet just because it is certified, replace once plug becomes loose. That is, assuming your electrician has upper limbs fit for service and didn't backstub those outlets to begin with.

The most annoying thing about the design of this cord is that all the outlets are on the same side. That means plugging in a power adapter may block the other two outlets. All my other cheap extension cords have two outlets in front and one outlet in back.

Not flat plug. About 9" or 10" long. I have looked diligently but can no longer find them at any of the bucknquarter stores (formally $1 tree).
