It's also possible there are thousands of runners out there just waiting on a wide version. Doesn't seem that one will be coming with the new version. Maybe version 4?
I paid $77 for a pair of new Alphaflys (DSG deal), and just paid $105 shipped (eBay $100 less one of the 10% coupons that pop every few weeks plus shipping) for my latest pair of VF2s. Others are getting them cheaper, but with continued growth and a single factory store Charlotte residents are lucky to find anything worthwhile there.
They over produced the hell out of these CF plate racers, to the point that normal working people can buy a pair if they're so inclined...

It's all good with me, at the prices I've found I can afford to use them for a session of speed work here and there. The DSG deal on the Alphafly 1s remains the height of absurdity though. I just wish I preferred them to the Vapors, and as more of a heel to midfoot striker I understandably don't...

People should know these last maybe 300 miles if you are lucky. These aren't daily shoes, they are race shoes. And dam good ones.
