Come on. Do not add pre-conditions to earn more. We are talking about no pre-conditions to earn 2% cash back on everything purchase and you just can't find the card to earn more. If you like conditions such as annual fee, member to open a bank account etc, that is a different thing. People may not like those conditions.

i would've applied for this card if it wasn't a visa. I have too many Visa cards and needed a mastercard, thus getting the Capital One Quicksilver(no foreign transaction and annual fees)for same reward of $200 for $500 spent within 3 months. Plus i needed to use a mastercard for booking anything in Japan online since the country doesn't accept foreign visa cards online.

Was denied with 750 credit score and obv all accounts in good standing. I already had a wells fargo card, maybe it was similar I do not know. Oh well.

I wish the Citi Double Cash card was a straightforward 2% instead of 1% on purchase + 1% on payment.

I had to shelve this Active Cash because I added the Citi Rewards+ which lets me pool all the Thank You Points and then kicks back 10% when I redeem the TYP which makes the Double Cash 1% + 1% + 0.2%

This or the Capital One Savor One? I have Chase Freedom Unlim but I like the capital one 3% on groceries and car rental insurance. Plus WF seems like a mess nowadays.

Avoid this bank and Wells Fargo in general. I opened this card up for the bonus, called CS and was assured I met the $500 spending. Once the promo time period ended I called to inquire why I had no received the bonus and was informed that I was a dollar and change short. 2 months later after being assured they would honor this, they called me to tell me their investigation team cannot honor the promo. Shady practice…..I should have listened to others and followed my gut.

I didn't get my CC bonus either. Haven't had a chance to call yet..
