Come on. Do not add pre-conditions to earn more. We are talking about no pre-conditions to earn 2% cash back on everything purchase and you just can't find the card to earn more. If you like conditions such as annual fee, member to open a bank account etc, that is a different thing. People may not like those conditions.

I think it's 3 or 4 payments a month and then you can call to make payments.

The first time you call, you setup your banking info, and then after, it's automated when you call.

I don't know why it restricted me last month. I forgot that I scheduled to pay the card and tried to pay again. The message from WF said that I exceeds the number of payments from a bank outside WF. May be I will test it again.

Adding a 2% back on everything and using it on everything other than gas, travel, restaurants is a fairly easy move. I use my Fidelity 2% back card at Costco, for example, so I don't have to wait a year to get the reward.

You could always use your banks bill pay system to send payments to WF. Might not be as fast but then you won't be limited.

Application approved with $22k credit limit and $13.2k instant credit. Enrolled Wells Fargo account, downloaded the app and added the card to Apple Pay and PayPal; I then could use it right away.

Yes, with a certain threshold of sales/income. I tried that with a small number of sales and was denied. I suppose people could lie on the application and say they sell more than they do but that's not advisable since it's a crime to lie on a cc app.
