Good catch on the lack of warranty extension. It does include cell phone protection (which I've used before) but like you, I'll avoid purchases for which I'd like the extended warranty.

That's a ghetto answer.
To get the Robinhood gold card requires a $5 monthly membership. So it would take $6000 annual expenses just to break even vs the WF card. Only after that amount will you start to gain with the Robinhood card.
Not everyone spends that much and especially that much on one card. I personally break my spending up throughout the year to capture bonus offers with various cards and use the WF card in between bonus offers.
Well, it's a pretty dang good card and that may be the reason. That 2% across the board is worth making it a part of your collection.
I have six cards, and I just learned about a couple of apps that tell you very clearly (phone and laptop, physical and online) which card to use at each store, and there's warranty information included. So I came back here to just refresh my memory on why I did get this card. I use it more than any other.
How about U.S. Bank Cash+ Visa Signature with up to 5% cash back on two categories, plus a $200 bonus.
Plus, 2% cash back on one everyday category you choose each quarter.
Plus, 1% on everything else. if you count your categories right, you can easily average more 2% flat.

But of course the OP deal is much better because SD staff posted it, right?
