50 cents a pod is meh, standard sale price. Costco Peets hits $32 for 80 - 40c.

I've never tried them but Pike Place and Breakfast blend is $20.25 through AWD for pods that expire 5/11/23.

Although Peets is on sale at Costco frequently and cheaper, I prefer the taste of Starbucks pods. I'd say my ranking goes:

Nespresso > Starbucks > Peets

I bought my Nespresso machine because Starbucks always tastes burned and acidic. Nespresso used to be my capsule of choice but I've recently discovered Lavazza. Delicious!

We love Lavazza coffee (coffee, Kcups and pods). But Equine is even better, and they use alu pods vs. Lavazza's plastic pods.

L'Or also uses alu pods and is very good. Both Equine and L'Or are better priced than Nespresso, Starbucks or Peets (for those whose Costco does not carry them in store and where S&H often adds quite a bit to the cost - seems they put them on sale and then add S&H while the non-sale has S&H included. Though haven't looked in a while, may no longer be true...).

What does this equate in petes 10 or 11?

For the price and flavor, these are my favorites.

Cafe Fuerte Cubano, Espresso Pods, Nespresso Capsules Compatible with OriginalLine Machines, Strong Cuban Coffee, Ristretto Cafecito, Intensity 13, Dark Roast, High In Caffeine (80 Count) https://a.co/d/6fbeKnN

It has a fresh flavor as well as lots of caffeine to wake you up

L'Or goes to 12. We like anything 10 and up.
Equine has strong intensities at 9 and 10 (we prefer Canter and Morgan). However, the lower intensities 8 and 7 are not bad either.

I like equine and have been buying those for almost a year. But they have not restocked flavors in quite a while. Not sure what is going on. Are they selling directly on Amazon or is it through a US distributer? Either way, it doesnt look good and there goes all the options for a decent and cheap nespresso pod.

Interested to try these due to the higher caffeine content, but reluctant to do so since most, if not all, plastic pods I've tried have been straight garbage.

Lavazza seems to be very weak compared to LOr. Need to try Equine.
