All PCIe Devices, including SSD, Graphics Cards or Add-In Cards, are backward cpmpatible. Only the performance will be restircted by the bandwidth of the older generation.

Note the lower speeds, Read/Write 5,000/4,400 MB/s ... This drive is early gen 4, from 2019. Still though it's a new leader in lowest cost for gen 4 TLC with DRAM

It is in fact slightly better than Corsair MP600 and there is no such Catch.

I love how people call that slow (not meaning you as you just said slower speeds). Some people on here still running hard drives.

As fast as my NVME drives are the darn windows file system is the bottleneck.

Is that M.2 SATA or M.2 PCIe?

One of the best SSDs out there and Teamgroup is not a scummy company like Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron colluding to keep prices high to milk the consumer for the past 10 years. While hard drives have increased in capacity from 4TB to 16TB and 18TB, Samsung and company are happily selling you 1-2TB SSDs and crying crocodile tears all the way to the bank saying theese high SSD prices are justified.

Just want to let you know that there are lot of computers, both Desktops and Laptops, which support both PCIe and SATA M.2 SSDs in the M.2 slot. So, make sure that if your device (whether Laptop or Desktop) does have support for both or not 1st as if it supports both, you can use that. For Laptop, you need to check the service manual from manufacturer website and for Desktop, you need to check the detailed motherboard spec.
