Play stupid games win stupid prizes.
We own both Model Y and Bolt. They are not the same car, but the value of the Bolt is tough to beat. The model Y is double the price, but not double the car. Maybe 1.5 times the car (size and features)
Simply put...bolt was designed with the basic needs for a car. It is just perfect, nothing fancy. Only advantage Tesla has is their charging network and super fact charging capability. It's just a matter of time other charging networks will catch up to it.
Then again with no fluids maybe electric is what they do well? Nah. I've had a-frames separate while driving, accelerators stick, engines blow up… it's not just the leaks.
All electric cars are going through technology evolution rapidly especially on the battery side. In a few years cars sold today will be outdated and worthless. It is better to stick to bolt and loose less money than buying a Tesla and losing more money in resale value.

You don't need an electrical engineering degree from MIT to install a dryer cord. SMH
Yes, i guess so are just so above all of us, huh, not caring what kind of car you drive at all. Good for you.
Would have to be a VERY early one as the battery warranty is 8 years/unlimited miles on all the S/X sold between 2012 and 2020... and in the those few early years of the S that WOULD be older than 8 years they didn't sell that many...and 0 Model X are older than 8 years as of today...(first ones get there in September this year)
And even the oldest 3s (mid-2017) were 8 years/125,000 miles so none have aged out of warranty, but I suppose if he drove like 20,000 miles a year he could've gotten there.
That's doubtful. State plus federal credits are massive and it was rare to see such deep discounts on new vehicles pre pandemic. Average price of a new car is nearly 50k, and will continue to climb with inflation. Tesla does not make huge leaps in redesign and 300 mile range has been standard for a while now. Better cars will come out, but I seriously doubt these will be worthless in a few years. Currently, only 1% of cars on the road are EVs. Limitations include lagging infrastructure and limited supply of battery materials. EV demand will remain high, and inflation will keep values propped up.
but I digress we're well off topic now.
I don't buy cars on speculation, but if you have the money, I anticipate the depreciation curve on this car will be very kind to you over the next 3 years at least. buy with confidence.
