Lol there's no way this is true.
Tire rotations, air filters, charging, etc;
Cost of ownership is low but not that low.
Source: I have two model 3s. My most expensive replacement was the windshield replacement for 732.48(discounted because of insurance) normally 1300+
Tires would be next. Like 700-800.
Work for an auto dealer so I get discounts.
Buy a used one. Easy to find and the market is flooded with these things.
Hey wait.... being in CA .... just having cheaper and more reliable power would be a place to start.

Most people who own Tesla's keep getting new ones cause the original one has defects and Tesla won't fix them. Good luck with the new one, same issues.
Don't see the relevancy of this comment.

Yea pretty much the same car. They both have tires, windshields, doors, and ac etc
At least 3 guys ordering the same config Tesla on the same day all pay the same, clearly spelled out, price with just a few clicks.
Send 3 people into the same BMW dealership on the same day to get a price on a car and they'll get 3 different answers depending on who the sales guy is, how knowledgeable the buyer seems, and how hard they haggle with em about it.
That second method seems like a lot more work for inferior results.
Also, why can't ppl just let ppl enjoy things 🥲 If u don't like Tesla/EV, then just save ur energy and move on w/ ur life
Research Tesla and profit margins.
I am looking at tesla now mainly because of tax incentives - especially comparing MY LR with X3 (though with the current EV trends, I may only buy a slightly used X3 if I go that route instead of new as it looks like ICE cars may depreciate very quickly in the next 5-8 years). Anyone else in the same boat?
I do road trips ranging from 300 -900 miles a few times a year and would like to use this car (most of the time, I prefer to do that driving in a single day). Looks like EV adds an extra 20% wait/charging time on such trips compared to gas cars. I am not located in east/west coast. So charging stations may not be as frequent for these road trips (I did check a few routes using Tesla route planning site).

What's absolutely disturbing is how it's become politically incorrect to criticize EVs with many message boards and social media sites shadowbanning or blocking you for providing evidence why EVs should not be mandated and why the adoption of them is likely being encouraged because of greed and blind zealotry. Directing anyone towards Youtube and tiktok videos by multiple channel owners demonstrating the serious issues EVs have is also met with hostility, insults and dismissal.
It really seems these people have to learn the hard way and are going full steam ahead with that plan.
