I know this is a great deal, and i have been waiting for it to drop to 1500.
I upgraded from an older Yamaha advantage receiver. I went with the RZ50 from a recent deal. Dirac live was an unexpected jump in quality and immersion for HT use. For music, the Yamaha has a warmer sound. If worried about power, you can always add an Amp. The main concern remains Onkyo long term reliability.
