This or wait for Ghost?
Ghost 14s have been on sale a few times recently in the ~$60 range. Just search FP deals.

Yeah, I have about 8 pairs of new old model Brooks in my tiny closet. laugh out loud Brooks would have me believe that the foam will deteriorate, even just sitting in the box. They don't encourage stocking up on last year's model when they're on sale 'cause their shoes will wear out even if you don't wear them. Ridiculous.
Foam could become stiffer in time, no?

Have gone through 6 or 7 pairs of Launch GTS 8 (and Ravenna before they were renamed / consolidated). Great moderate stability shoe. In for 2 of these (though paying the slight up charge to order from Brooks directly)

The go to flat foot over pronation shoe for Brooks is the Adrenaline GTS 22. The "it" shoe right now for flat footed over pronators is the Saucony Tempus.
I'd say Glycerin GTS is better than Adrenaline GTS for overpronation.

I have flat feet and over pronate. Currently using Adidas Solar boosts which seems heavy and cause my feet to hurt. Sadly I purchased the same model in 2020 and they felt fantastic so something changed.

Anyway what is the recommended brooks to try?

Glycerin shoes aren't as dynamic as Adrenaline. If he'd said I wanted a comfortable shoe for easy to moderate run days, then yeah I'd go Glycerin.

Glycerin has better cushioning ("most cushion") vs Adrenaline ("more cushion") as per Brooks website
Also, Glycerin's 10mm drop vs Adrenaline's 12 mm drop, although I think 10mm is still on higher side (6mm to 8mm drop preferred usually)

For mostly walking around, UB is much better

Yes, but shoes have different use cases. Adrenalines are jack of all trade shoes good for easy and up tempo efforts. Glycerin aren't well suited for up tempo days if that makes sense. They're great shoes, but they're better for people with a running shoe rotation or those prone to only slower efforts. If recommending one shoe, you can't be confident it fits OPs use case unless he specified. I'll share with you another site that aggregates shoe reviews and prices across the internet to show that my perspective isn't anecdotal; it's the consensus. (Also recommend the site super highly for shoe shopping.)
