Terrible price. This is basically regular price now that book3 is out. It has been as low as 600.

How well built is the Galaxy Book? Comparable to the Dell 13XPS? Crap like the LG Gram? A tank like a thinkpad?

Not xps quality at all, super thin, look up reviews of screen cracking

For new? Without edu/military discounts? That would have been a great deal.

Is there any other good deals on laptop with OLED screen and i7 cpu in this range? I haven't seen any recently. I am not sure I want to buy this though, because the comment above about the build quality gives me a pause.

I believe the ones with screen cracking issues were the book1 pro and pro 360. i don't believe this has been a major reported issue with the book2 non-pro. The pro series is thinner than the non pro. Please provide us a link if I am wrong about this book2 360.

By the way, deal is dead anyways.

I thought so too until i looked at reviews on bestbuy for the new book2 .. i also did inspect it i person at bestbuy and I don't know why they made it so fragile
