Yes, apple care+ is included but I believe it's coverage is for a total of 2 years from purchase date and not extra 2 years besides 1 year of Apple warranty

I bought the last time Costco had the 14 Pro Max 256GB on sale for $1099 including AppleCare+. Very happy with the price and the phone. If 128GB is sufficient, this is a good deal.

Since these are e-SIM only, do you get nailed with a fee from Verizon when you set it up? I still have a physical SIM, and last phone I bought I just popped the SIM in. No BS activation charge from Verizon.

I would be surprised if any carriers charged for switching from physical SIM to e-SIM.

During the previous iPhone deal from Costco there were discussions around canceling AppleCare+, some had success but few had to work with Apple customer support to get this cancelled. I think you can cancel it as soon as you receive the phone.

You may get an email from Costco that AppleCare+ is activated for your phone before it ships and with proof of coverage. I think you can start the cancellation as soon as you receive the package.
