Funny, that's how I feel about your city.
About 4.5 millions (or more) South Asian Indians living in USA who uses Slickdeals may want to go.
Would you rather it take 20+ hours with a 5 hour stopover in the middle?

I don't understand posts like this lol

I took a similar flight from AA a couple years ago. It was a disaster, they pushed me out of the flights twice, once on departure flight and once on Arrival flight, all confirmed tickets. Will never do international AA routes again.

Then, who do you suggest flying? Do share.

Nothing, I had to call and find flights again. For the departure i had to move to another day, for arrival i was able to get on the same flight again, possibly because i was able to call soon after i saw the change email.

So, you mean to tell American Airlines didn't offer you vouchers or cash at all? This is hard to believe. Did they actually offer and you turned them down?

Yes. I'd rather have time to walk around, get a nice meal, maybe get a day room if it's an airport that has them, than sit on the same barely-padded apple crate for 15 hours.

I'll never get people who would rather be treated like cattle for 15 hours without a break.

Most of the travelers have couple of extra legs to travel. With your suggestion, it will take 30 hours to get to destination.

Which part made you laugh - the seek asylum part or the stinkhole part?

This is a great price for non-stop economy without a bunch of required add-ons. And at under 15hrs, that's fast too. Anytime you have to connect, the fastest you can get there is 22hrs+.

As far as comments on the source or destination--well, if you have to go, you have to go. Big Grin

What do you mean by "pushed me out" on arrival flight⁉️

Not sure what happened but Something sounds off. Unless the flight was cancelled you cannot be removed from an operating flight without compensation.

They cancelled the flight on departure, but then another flight at the same time was available, which I couldn't get in. There was no compensation.

For the arrival flight I was bumped from the flight, it wasn't cancelled, but no compensation either way. I was able to get back on the same exact flight again.

It sounded to me low fare passengers were bumped for high fare passengers most likely. I will never fly AA again especially international. Shit show all around.

Edit: Double checked the return flight was also 'cancelled' but I was able to rebook the exact same flight, same flight# and departure time.
