What do you mean by "pushed you out", like literally pushed you off the plane because you were misbehaving on the flight, or because it was overbooked, or something else. Please clarify.
All of you who are attacking NYC... have you ever been there, or are just repeating stuff from Foxnews?
However, it is the main airport closest to the Taj Mahal, one of the Wonders of the World. The Taj Mahal was truly incredible.
This makes it a necessary evil. So I recommend using this as a 3 day stopover, taking the train down to the Taj Mahal, and then continuing whereever you want to go next. I don't recommend staying in India. Simply horrible.
This is a good deal and a good price, but don't make Delhi the main part of your trip.

It doesn't help that New Yorkers outside of NYC are so aggressively proud of the cestpool that is their city, even as they themselves describe all the problems it has.
Also most New Yorkers I've spoken to said it's gotten worse since the pandemic.

I've been to 23 countries on 5 continents and this is the worst city (and country) I've ever been to.
It's amazing to know that this is the worst. I can't tell if it's less or worse than anything in the developing world as all that looks the same to me.

Lived across from there in Jersey City for a few months (thought we were going to be permanent but a job in another city came up), and while the commute would get busy for sure with people everywhere, it was just busy vs rude. Filth comes with larger cities, but even Chicago downtown has that--it's all a matter of what block you were on. One block would be clean, the next filthy, the next clean, the next with a beggar.
SFO downtown is the worst I've seen so far--makes anything outside of the third world look better and not by much either.
Wow, this statement is utterly ignorant.
Please do yourself a favor and actually travel.
NYC is probably one of the worst cities in the world, which you'd know if you had actually been anywhere else.
Tokyo, Vancouver, Berlin, or any other major city is way better in almost every way.

New Yorker here, who has lived in Central and Western NY. No one out here wants to be associated with NYC. In fact, there are many that hate having to share the state with NYC, mostly as a majority of people think Red and NYC is blue. Also, I have been to many parts of India, which is beautiful, but Delhi is dirty, loud, and simply not pleasant. Visit the South or the West Coast of India instead.
