I bought the 8GB refurb Oasis from Amazon in May 2021 for $210 - so I'd say this is def worth the price.
The software could be much improved, don't get me wrong - but hardware-wise, it's hard to beat. Oh, I just wish it has USB-C but hey, it's 5 years old at this point...

I tried the new Scribe but it was just too big, hard to sit and read with it. But similar in size to the DX.

I bought this last time Woot had refurbs for ~$100 and it looked pretty much brand new. I love it. Total steal at this price. Amazon support even activated ad-free mode for no charge on it because I had it on my previous Kindle and asked nicely in a support chat.

For $100 it is ok price for ereader with actual page turn buttons.

Be aware of mediocre battery life of Oasis. Depending on how much you read on it. I had to charge my oasis every week.
Also Amazon keep messing up with UI of kindles - last year update with touch gesture made it so slow and inconvenient.

So I traded it my oasis to get new Paperwhite Kindle with usb-c and huge battery for my wife and I'm using Kobo Forma as my day to day reader.
