Because this uses a dongle, I don't see the difference between this and a wireless keyboard. This one just runs off controller power.

I had the one for the 360. Didn't need the usb. However the form factor is pretty similar.

The difference is that it's right there but doesn't get in the way of gameplay, at least on the 360. It was most useful when searching, inputting passwords, etc.

Bought two of these for me and my sons Elite Series 2 controllers. They work great, the syncing was seamless, it's a bummer it takes a usb port but it's well worth it.

I picked it up at my local BB store and I'm using it for playing Wolcen on Steam. It lets me use the keyboard shortcuts in game which is nice for quickly getting to menu items that require multiple steps for the gamepad. I am not finding that it works as a general keyboard in Windows 11 though. For example, when I want to put in my password to log in. Not a big deal since I bought it for games. Wish it had an escape key though.

Can someone confirm if the 0 key on the chat pad works? Every button works but the 0 key so I'm not sure if that's an Xbox Chat limitation or if the open box unit I received is defective.

Bought one for the wife and myself. It's just okay. The old 360 chatpad had hard, raised letters/buttons, where this has softer, flatter buttons. I find it more difficult to correctly press the correct letters. I got to where I could type 60 wpm on the old pad, I think I'd be lucky to hit 20 on this without errors.
