Long story short, shipping was just under 18 bucks, so I made the order with the Dallas location as my store and have it coming to my house for 12-13 bucks cheaper than ordering it here and picking it up at the store.

There is also a DeWalt shop fan that can take an extension cord that I have, but I believe that is discontinued at this point.
Was looking at Ego but already have dewalt tools….
The blower isn't the best, you'll find that it's a subpar blower, the nozzle doesn't concentrate it as well as I'd like but it gets the job done. The trigger can be controlled depending on how hard you press, and the 5.0 battery does make it a little heavy for more than 1 minute of blowing. I use it to dry my ceramic coated car. It does work but it is much weaker than an Ego and the battery life is the worst part for the blower. It lasts 5 min.
If you don't mind the inefficiencies of both blower and trimmer and instead you value price and well built items, then this is for you! This is my starter kit and I plan to eventually upgrade, but works fine for $200 so can't complain.

I found big B is $169 too but Ace is $199. $169 seems like a deal for this….hoping it does a fair job for 1500 sq ft of grass.

Speed-Feed 400 Universal Trimmer Head and .095 crossfire trimmer line on the trimmer and it will work a lot better.
Blower's been solid. Great for popping the doors and windows open on a breezy day then "power dusting" the house. If you have indoor cats or dusty people in your house, definitely do this and be disgusted at how you've been living. lol

5' 4.5" here. No problems for me. Been a couple years since I bought mine, so I cant remember if the front handle position can be adjusted. Having spent a lot of time with Stihl line trimmers, I am well aware that position of that handle can greatly affect handling and ergonomics of the unit.

That said, I'm not generally trimming around rocks/sharp objects and when I'm trimming around hard landscaping or sidewalks, I'm pretty careful. My background is building and grounds maintenance and have spent 1000s of hours line trimming with Stihl FS-200/220/250s. All about that finesse.
As far as the blower goes, it does get more "power" with larger batteries. I generally use a 6ah and it does a decent job. People definitely shouldn't expect anywhere near gas powered blowers. Also ran Stihl BR-550/600 for...so many hours (I worked in a park, lots of trees and winstorms). If you're out in the woods or have a lot of property, electric probably isn't the way. In town or a small yard...perfect.
