One of the best laptops of 2022, on par with Lenovo Legion 5 Pro. If you missed out on those when they were being clearanced out for $1400, then this should be pretty equivalent. 16:9 Screen doesn't get as bright as Lenovo, but is higher quality. 1080p selfie cam is higher resolution than Lenovo if that matters to you. RBG keyboard is per key where as Legion 5 only has I think 4 zones. Have to step up to Legion 7 to get per key RGB. Screen refresh rate is higher on this one but I don't know how much it really matters once you start going past 160 on Legion.

This is a great price for one of the best laptops of last year IMO. Someone said fans are loud. They are loud on all high performance gaming laptops, there's no way around it. They're very loud on Legion too, I wear headphones while gaming and I don't hear anything.

Been combing for a while. Was looking for something reasonable for local ML that wouldnt destroy the bank.

Dont care about loud, need the cooling for long periods of sustained load.
