I had a couple of the official Boy Scouts of America branded version of this back in the early-late 90s. Use with mounds of saved dryer lint and you're in business. Can still taste the aluminum foil pouch meals filled with bits of hot dogs, chunks of potatoes, and chopped carrots and onions inside. Good times.

These can be fun, but suck in a real emergency. Getting a frame takes lots of practice, low wind, and the right tinder. Not practical in most situations.
