I'm looking for a desktop replacement (custom built PC from almost 13 years ago) and would love to cut down on the amount of devices I have. Anyone have any experience with this at 1440? I'm looking for something to play MMOs, Graphic Design, and music production.
I will be traveling and doing some gaming in my down time.. both are around the same price point but certainly would appreciate some in depth knowledge of those into spec gaming and such.

I'd say the triton as that's one of their top of the line machines. Plus 400 nits vs 250. 16:10 ratio as well. But if you play really demanding games 3070 would be better.

Exactly if you plan on playing games the 3070 is better but the brightness and aspect ratio is better on the 14"
I actually own this laptop and use it mostly for COD and Destiny 2. I feel like the main thing holding this laptop back is there power supply. Yes it sounds like a jet engine under load, but at 1080p cod doesn't stay at 100+fps unless you crank the settings down. Destiny 2 maintains a solid 80fps average.

Depends on what you want. I personally prefer the 14 inch form factor. Getting the smaller screen IS the upgrade that most other commenters are not pointing out. This is also one of the only models in this price range with 2 removable/upgradable ram slots.
Geezus, that screen is hot garbage. Only 250nits and 45% NTSC? I guess on the up side the screen will be so dim that you won't notice how off the colors are.
