This is not a "slick" deal at all. Just coz it has 3070 in its name at $999 doesn't mean it's a steal.
The RTX 3070 is severely underpowered at a TDP of 105W. The display is garbage with 250-nits and 45% NTSC.
A full wattage 3060 can outperform this in a lot of games. Only thing going for this ASUS is the 8GB VRAM.
Not to mention it price matches a FP deal from literally 5 months ago. At that time it might have been a good enough deal but right now it should've been maybe $100 lesser for it to be considered a good enough deal.
Heck, for just $100 more (if you don't mind the bigger size) you can get the Microcenter Omen deal with full wattage RTX 3070 Ti which literally puts this machine and deal to shame.

Looking at Jarrods tech site, looks like the TUF Dash F15 (with i7 11370H) was getting almost 8 hours on his youtube playback test so normal productivity shouldn't be too bad on these power wise.
