My junk isn't even big, so my legs aren't spread apart that much, yet the foot rest still doesn't cover the width.
Hours of doing this can lead to your legs feeling numb, weak, painful/tender. So you get one of these and it elevates your legs so that they are no longer in this uncomfortable position. Bonus points if you get a seat cushion too. Now you can spend hours on your computer chair with no pain or discomfort.
