If you are on a high tax bracket then it is not worth getting out of bed for this. Like i said, I like bonuses but only credit card ones. Credit card ones have no tax obligation and are better deals too in points value.

I called U.S. bank, and they told me that the code was correctly applied, but I have to wait yet 1.5 months to get the $600 (I got $1000 in direct deposit).
Also, not to have get another bonus and not to have had an account in U.S. bank in the last 2 years. So... I should have the $600 soon.

Pd: also, it is not neccesary to have the money in the account, we can't use it or transfer to other account because the condition is to get $10000 in direct deposit.
If we dont want to have a fee charge, we could have $1500 in the account or continue receiving $1000 of direct deposit each month.
And they will charge $2 for paper document (I had, so, the agent indicated me how to select digital instead of on paper and avoid that $2 fee charge).
