before the hardcore campers come in and say this sucks because they use it for climbing mt everest or some ish like that, this tent is perfectly fine for casual, not hardcore type camping.

Haven't had any issues with quality and have used it for casual camping with 6-7 people and have been fine.

Will it fit 11 people? sure but youll be sardines. Half the amount of advertised is a more realistic for comfortable with room for your stuff.

Instant tent for this size at this price is solid deal if you are looking for one

Hardcore campers don't use tents.

Honest question.. how long do you think something like this would last if I set it up and left it all summer for the kids? (In the Midsouth)
If you really need to make it work this is what I would do....

Set up a large heavy duty tarp above where you tent will be set up. Preferably strung between 4 trees with paracord.

Set up tent under tarp and use all included hardware, stakes, lines etc. You may also want to upgrade the stakes to 6-12" for increased strength.

If during spring, summer months, add a portable ac unit inside. You can also add a thinner tarp to cover the tent and help trap more of the cold air.

We have done this in the middle of July in South Texas and slept very well although once sun is up it can get quite warm. Dark tent could help with this. Good luck

Good timing, needed a cheap one for one night Cub Scout camp outs, this is perfect. Already have a toy hauler for race "camping" but this is perfect for the Cub Scout campgrounds. Thanks!

Some reviews complain about its poor quality. 3 uses, etc.
And some people complain that water makes things wet however it appears the vast majority of reviews are not expecting the unreasonable...and are quite satisfied.

Just remember, this is a 'instant' tent for casual (backyard) good weather 'camping' with kids, families, etc. Seams will leak unless you water proof them, instant tents aren't built for "only 25 mph winds" (common theme among complaints), tent fabric is prone to "holes" thus why it is so light, gorillas aka children can break 100 million year old rocks...them having the ability to accidently break a tent pole shouldn't lead to a 1 star review of the tent.

Frankly, I'll never understand why people see thousands of 4.5/5 reviews then gravitate to the one person whining that a $20 coffee maker didn't write their doctoral thesis for them. That is the one review that gets brought up over and over again. Confused

Just fyi if the people you're camping with lean on the stinky side, it may be better to use two smaller tents instead of this.

I had mine setup for a month during the pandemic in my backyard in 2020. Still getting used (friend is borrowing it this weekend) 2-3 weekends per year. Biggest complaint isn't about it holding up. After it rained, there was a little bit of water inside. No idea where it came from.

Not concerning this tent, but pretty much any item with similar style construction (including wind breakers) you really should use some kind of seam sealer to waterproof the sewn corners (where 99% of leaks come from). Pretty much no tent $10 - $500 comes with (properly) sealed seams.

There are a bunch of different brands, application methods, even tape.

For example:

Love that it is one-person setup. The extra room has been nice when using in-tent porta-potty.

Is this good enough to practice with in the backyard so I can eventually stay mobile and away from the evil who want to put me in FEMA Camps for their 'New World Order' agenda?

I ordered this https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ozark-.../51718436) yesterday (Purchase price $79), debating which one is better.
Besides 11-person v/s 10-person and minor pricing, has anyone spotted a major difference?

When I ordered, both are available.
I went with this one because
- the small attached tent in the back is perfect for storage like clothing and other gears, keeps main tent clean
- The awning is much more useful for me vs the dark tent
- My own experience is you must put tent under the tree shade, or you can not go inside during the day.
- Dark tent and extra windows is not that useful for me as I hardly sleep during the day and rarely need to open more windows.
- The other tent has sun roof and seems to cost more ($199 vs $149), so I don't know which is better.

$25/night for festival / friend's backyard is totally acceptable to a lot of people. Compare to hotel, etc.
