How does the retail price go from $99 in the previous deal to $179 now?

Try disabling the touchpad in the LG Tone app or changing the behavior of the buttons.

4.3 out of 5 on Amazon. For only $45 figured I'd try them out. Seems like some people aren't too thrilled about the quality but I just need something for workout and noise cancellation so seems like this'll work.

I got these when they were 50 but they made a weird chirping sound when noise cancelling was on. I returned them without issues and got the full refund. I bought them again and the new pair sounds good, but the noise cancelling is pretty bad and I can barely tell when its on. The reviews are all over the place on the noise cancelling. Some people say it works great and others say it's bad.

Have these and while I agree the battery life is a bit on the low side, sound is crisp and I find them to work particularly well for calls. Also comfortable. Wouldn't get them for the noise reduction however. I feel like on anything but over the ear headphones that is mostly a feature with negligible benefit. And yes, don't forget to download the app.

I'm guessing it depends on the model you get, or what you use it for. But I really like earbuds with ANC. I have used the Airpod Pros and the Sony WF-1000XM4, and both did/do an excellent job blocking/reducing the noise from my loud riding mower. I have turned ANC on and off, without any media playing, and I was surprised with how effective ANC was for me. Sony was slightly better, but I think that was more to do with fit than anything else. Just my experience though. I wouldn't be surprised if the over the ear models are that much more effective as well.

FP8 does not appear to have FP7C's feature that allows its case to act as plug-in transmitter.

Anyone use these with windows? I can see that it can be done, but wondering how good it is.
I use them on Android, Windows, iOS. No issue so far, microphone is also on average rating. But personal experience, the ANC on windows is worse than Android/iOS.

So, I thought I got a dud as well.

I had to connect to FP8-LE on the Bluetooth settings.

Proceed to update the headset software with the top cover open. Took like 15 mins. Cannot close app, set your screen to no timeout.

After that, the earbuds interface changed on the app, showed battery life and allowed me to change settings.
Noise cancellation was more apparent as I switched it off and on.

On iOS for reference.

Does it support multi-points connection, mean connect to two devices simultaneously, can switch smoothly from one to another device ?

Just got mine. They seem fine. Don't exactly feel premium and hope no one paid $179 for them, but seem fine for me as a work laptop headset and the price was good.

What is a "plug-in transmitter"? Do you mean like a hearing aid cuz isn't that what the "pass- thru" option can be used for?
