My wife works at home, and I picked this up for her to replace a 24"-inch 1080p display she was previously using. She runs three monitors, so this went to the middle of the group. What we've learned from owning it;
This panel is more than bright enough. She sits under a window that lets in a lot of daylight and has no issues seeing the screen. If the window was behind her and the sun was shining right on her desk, it might be another story. But that would be an issue for most monitors out there.
Going wide screen takes some getting used to. It's a bit silly to maximize a program like MS Teams or Chrome, so some Window Management is needed. However, when she works on video editing or Excel documents, she's absolutely in love with the extra room.
Ergonomics suck on this monitor. It has no height adjustment, and the stand that's included is pretty short. We ended up buying a riser for her desk to lift this thing up 5 inches. It does have a 100x100 vesa mount, so you can also get an arm for it as well.
Sitting right in front of it, we don't notice any issues with viewing angles. Even sitting to the side, it remains crisp and the colors aren't washed out.
She's been using it for 3 months now, and still comments about how much she enjoys having it. I'm sure if she sat down at this display and a $600+ curved display she'd notice a difference. But that doesn't make this a bad display and she has no complaints, which makes this a great deal in my book.
If you buy a curved, make sure the curve is sufficient. I'd recommend nothing less than 1800R. 1800R seems to be a solid balance on this size of monitor for office use. It's enough to angle in the sides for comfortable use while not being so curved that text is distorted (I'd previously used a smaller higher curved monitor and found the distortion on text to be less than appealing for office use; the 1800R on 34" ultra-wide does not exhibit such noticeable stretching (perception-wise).

Overhead lights are not an issue
Each has been over-clocked to 100hz since taken out of the box. While they've seen gaming, their primary use is business in the office or at home.
I do not like curved monitors for business purposes (office apps, designs apps, trading apps, fusion360, legal docs, etc.). May not be the case for all, but I prefer flat for any "productivity" work. On my gaming and simulation rigs, I prefer curved all the way - again, personal preference.
Every time these monitors pop up on here for 200, I am tempted to buy another and figure out a use later.

Just wanted to second this. I bought during the last deal and was reluctant because of the monitor geeks critiquing this stat or that. Then I remembered I'm not a gamer…don't even use transitions in my PowerPoints. For anybody looking to set up or upgrade their home office this is an excellent choice. Pair with this arm for <$40 for increased desk space and custom height/tilt: https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/fp/818636
I also connect this monitor to a Dell XPS 17 laptop.
Use the Windows 11 screen split feature to split this 34-inch monitor into half.- e.g. two 17 inches screens and I sit about in the middle on the center line of the monitor.
Thus, I face in total of three 17 inches screens (2 from this Samsung monitor and 1 from the laptop)
Loves the simplicity of the setup and it has been perfect.
I just need a 1440p 60-90Hz $200 or less

So, how does it compare to 3 x24" monitors in vertical set ups? It's not 4k, or 6k so there's gotta be something you give up. and its 75Hz.
If you edit fast 4k videos, I'm assuming you may see a lot of blurs. also having 3 documents windows may be smaller than compared to 3x 24" 1080p monitors??
So was wondering the size, maybe go up 42" for 4k or larger curved monitor(with 120 or 144hz)?

How did you overclock to 100hz?
In fact, I now recall this having really good lack of back light bleed (which I find generally annoying and test for although in this instance it was more out of curiosity given the issue is irrelevant for the use case).
