The last Amazon branded nespresso pods I ordered were trash. They barely flowed liquid, I'd have to use the lungo button just to get an espresso shot worth of coffee from them. I ended up getting a refund for them.

You can get additional units for $40, which isn't bad if you want to stock up.

I wasn't offered the additional $10.67 Stock up & Save Discount. The total price for me for S&S is $46.37. Possibly because I have ordered these in the past.

Food items cannot be returned. So be careful. They might give you a refund once in a while but not always.

Used the $10 off amazon locker pickup and brought the total down another $10. 100 capsules for $25. Not bad!

Doesn't specifically say recyclable, but being aluminum it's a good bet as long as the grounds can be separated same as Nespresso pods.

I bought two, non-variety packs of the Amazon Basics Nespresso capsules about a month ago and I got a refund on them. The taste on the espresso is completely fine. But the extraction is a tossup. Sometimes espresso just wouldn't come out. If it did come out, it would be real slow.

If you look at the non-sponsored (non-Vine) reviews of the older listings (which have more real people who have actually paid for the items), the reviews are pretty much in agreement that the flow of liquid through the pods is bad and sometimes just doesn't work.

so does everyone do like i do, order these subscriptions and then go and cancel them before the second delivery? I'm surprised amazon doesn't get annoyed.

You want to make sure that your machine has the Ristretto setting for some of these. Mine only does Espresso or Lungo.

Like the other commenters - the extraction on my machine is hit or miss. I also do not like the flavor of the #8 intensity pods. A little unfortunate that I have 50 that I would say are the worst ones I have tried with my Nespresso machine. The Peet's and Starbucks ones are both very good if you're able to justify the $.40/draw cost. The Lavazza and Nor ones are plastic and both are better tasting in my opinion.
