When I was at my local Costco last week, this set was not available instore. I am thinking this set is online only special.

I like Lego and follow Lego news and this is the first I've heard of a boycott of them. Looking it up part of it centers around a set released a while ago. I don't think the boycott is going to move the needle much.

Is this available in store? Costco likes to use the poly bags for shipping and I'm almost certain the box is going to get damage.

I see lots of little rounds that leave smaller indents on my feet when I step on them. So that's a positive.

I enjoyed it. Total build time was about 5 hours. There were a couple really repetitive parts, one where you have to snap all the little circles that make up the background on individually (which I actually enjoyed because it's got satisfying tactile feedback) and the other with all the white foamy parts of the wave.

There's a 2-hr podcast that Lego put together for you to listen to where they talk about the impact of the original woodblock which is really cool.

I would pay full price for it again.
