About this Game:
  • The story of Cal Kestis continues in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, a third-person, galaxy-spanning, action-adventure game from Respawn Entertainment, developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. This narratively driven, single-player title picks up 5 years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order™ and follows Cal's increasingly desperate fight as the galaxy descends further into darkness. Pushed to the edges of the galaxy by the Empire, Cal will find himself surrounded by threats new and familiar. As one of the last surviving Jedi Knights, Cal is driven to make a stand during the galaxy's darkest times — but how far is he willing to go to protect himself, his crew, and the legacy of the Jedi Order?

Never pre-order games. Buy on day 1 once embargo has been lifted to ensure you're not getting a broken piece of garbage.

I play games like this once and don't look back. There is just too much out there to play. I'm planning to get the EA play plus for one month for $15 and play this and the new Dead Space. That's just me. It will probably be free a year from now from the Epic store.

lol there is no review embargo for this game, and none of the early reviews have said it was a broken piece of garbage. Those reviews are pretty unanimous in this being an upgrade over the first game, which was very well received.

You go ahead and wait until day 1 and pay $30 more. I'mma pre-order today.

same. I played Star Wars fallen order once, but thoroughly and I don't feel a need to replay it in the future

I can't decide if I want to get this on PC (for the graphics/frame rate) or on ps5 (for the adaptive triggers). Any opinions?

I was in a similar position with Hogwarts Legacy. I ended up buying it on PC, but if I had to do it all over again, I think I would've gotten it on PS5 for the dualsense controller. I have read that it's really engaging (more than just adaptive triggers) and that the haptic feedback is really good if it's implemented by the dev team.

So--if the folks for this game have implemented the proper use of all the dualsense features, I'd go with the PS5.

Plus, if you get the disc version, you can trade/sell it when you're done. Can't do that on PC.

That's what I was thinking. If I got it on PC I'd be using a DS4 anyways so I'm leaning towards the first good sale of it for PS5.

Graphics look like it's still the first game… so pre release sale makes sense to me 😉

Agree with others… this'll be 20$ in no time just wait a month or two.

If you are committed enough to beating the game in a month you can just get Ea play Pro on PC for $15 and beat this and have access to their whole library for the remaining time. I plan on beating this and the new dead space then maybe check out wild hearts. Decent price if you want to own it though, I did the same month subscription back when the first game came out and didn't ever feel the need to replay it so it worked out for me.
