That is how I felt until I got one. I use it more than my stove & oven. It cooks faster, don't need to deal with food splatter and its very easy to clean.

I just put the egg(s) in the air fryer. Once you master the time/temp, it comes out the same consistently.

My air fryer is like a toaster, not like one of those dedicated air fryers. So I just put it on the grill rack, no pan needed. I think if you put it on the plate, air doesn't circulate fully around the oven/egg? Who knows.

Just have to make sure the actual air fryer setting is on and not the toasting setting.

Thanks, I was tempted to yet another appliance. Do you have to preheat your air fryer? Any clue how many minutes I should start with?
