Deal HistoryÂ

Decent price if you need what's in a set (if you don't need half the stuff in it, then obviously not valuable to you).
I've been switching more cookware over to Tramontina lately. Excellent build quality at a reasonable price. If you look at various reviews for SS cookware on the internet from various experts, they're pretty highly regarded for the pricepoint, especially for those who aren't willing to pay All Clad prices.
The mirror finish exterior is IMHO a little bit of a gimmick. If you actually use these for cooking they'll get some blemishes, especially on the bottom. One use on my stove and they're no longer virgins.
They heat rather evenly, they are really solidly built, handles don't get hot, lids are pretty solid, handles are easy to hold. They clean really nicely too. At worst a touch of barkeeper's friend will get them looking shiny.
Would I recommend a set? Only if you genuinely need enough items in the set vs buying alone. Would I recommend them as a brand? Yea, but don't just take my word for it, a fair number of review websites like Wirecutter and various chefs, folks on reddit all like them to. For the price point I don't think you can do any better.

Are you talking about this one at Costco for $99? I highlight that it is NOT stainless steel.

I have tried Tramontina and it changes the color fast after 1 or 2 wash. Going to try hanckel..
You are cleaning wrong. I've had Tramontina for 10 years and they look like new.
The all-clad skillets have a better shape to me than these. Demyere is higher quality than all-clad and Tramontina but it's also 6x the price or so.

I have some of these same Tramontina pieces and a bunch of All-Clad D3. These Tramontina really are just about as good, and a heck of a lot cheaper. This is a *great* price for this set, but the Fry pans might be a touch small for many people.

D5 is overkill marketing and the added layers slows heatup and adds more weight to the pans

I have the 12-piece stainless steel set from Costco and I love it:
Tramontina 12-piece Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel Cookware Set
https://www.costco.com/tramontina...09
So this deal from OP 8 piece for $160 is not that slick.

Try using a metallic scrub pad with a little bit of baking soda and water to remove the caked on gunk. It will restore the color and shine.
