I love the way these look and tritium is very cool. That said, you better be expecting a very tiny watch if you order this. I'm not part is the Invicta 48mm gang, but I think 38 is about perfect. Obviously this comes down to personal preference, but be warned. I have the non-tritium version of this and it seriously looks like a toy. Insult to injury, on mine, the springbars are baked into the case, so it can't do any strap other than a NATO (16mm no less...). Also, with only 30 meters of water resistance, I don't even know that I'd wear one in the shower. These have almost enough cool factor to offset those shortcomings though.

I'm so happy to see watch makers bring their focus back to the sub-40mm category! Never heard of this brand but it looks well made with a good looking face and solid movement. Nice post OP πŸ‘πŸ½

The 39mm is twice the price, but a tad too large for me

It's a weird one. The company has been around since 1908. It's a Canadian company (overseeing design and distribution), watches are produced in Switzerland, and this particular model has Japanese movement in it (Seiko NH35A). And on top of all that, Tritium ... I think it's a good price for what they are offering, with sapphire crystal and light-weight construction etc...

These look like military watches. Tritium adds to that assumption.

Is "high impact fiber shell" = "Bio-ceramic" = Plastic?

Did anyone watch the video in the link? Teddy said the price of the watch was $288. It's nice to know exactly how much more we are paying now.

In the Video the watch is mentioned for $288 … ?
But anyway, one thing is clear, the watch won't have a value drop than any Apple Watch over years to come πŸ˜‰

Yes it's a plastic shell. Carbon-reinforced plastic, hence the "fiber"

Inflation and availability, but yeah, that video was more than 2 years ago, so I guess it warrants the 16% price mark-up as we are coming out of the pandemics

They also have leather nato straps, if you want to upgrade. Some comments on the youtube video said that you can fit a 18mm strap thru there as well. Looks like it wears well on a 7-in wrist (video from Just One More Watch). My wrist is 6 inch, so I think this will wear well. And yes, it's a bummer the water resistance couldnt be better.

It's an awesome brand that makes watches with a proprietary in-house movement for government and military. They are more famous for their GSAR series.

If you grab one I truly hope you like it. Aesthetically they're great. I think it speaks volumes about the design of the watch that with a normal instant deal breaker like the size, I'm still on the fence and wear mine. It reminds me of the Bulova Lunar Pilot that's on the other end of the spectrum. That thing is giant, but the design transcends its physical traits and it just "works".
