On my wife's side, it did not asked if she wants to transfer daily cash to savings. Now, I think there is no option to transfer your daily cash to your new savings account if you didnt elect initally. I know it's still new. If there is a way to transfer it, let me know. Otherwise, I'll probably wait for an update.
That's weird--when I go to Wallet -> Apple Card -> Savings Account, then tap the Add Money button it brings up the keypad and shows my current Apple Cash Balance available for transferring to Apple Savings. When you go to Apple Card and tap on the triple-dots in the upper right corner, then tap Daily Cash--what does it show under the "Daily Cash Election" section? On mine it shows both "Apple Cash" and "Savings"...
Mine shows:
Lifetime received
Daily Cash Election
Get more from Apple Card (refer friends)
Bonus Daily Cash Merchants
This one just launched, so it's going to be a little above average to attract customers. Everyone else is going to slowly climb over the next several weeks.
Overall constantly switching banks will earn you a couple dollars a year. Spend the time learning a skill or doing a job and you could earn much more than that.
If you're already in the Apple Card ecosystem this might be convenient and worthwhile to consolidate. For everyone else, likely not.

Normal scenario:
1. Jimbo applies for Apple Card, enters his social and income
2. GS does soft pull
3. Next screen there is an Apple Card offer of 20k, 20% rate
4. Jimbo hits "accept"
5. GS follows through with hard pull, and hard pull now shows up on Jimbo's credit report (Transunion)
Hack:
1. Jimbo applies for Apple Card, enters his social and income
2. GS does soft pull
3. Next screen there is an Apple Card offer of 20k, 20% rate
4. Jimbo logs into Transunion and FREEZES his credit
5. Jimbo then goes back to the Apple Card screen and hits "accept"
6. GS tries to follow through with hard pull and can't, so no pulls ever show up on Jimbo's credit report
Both Jimbo's successfully get an Apple Card. Hack-Jimbo circumvents the hard credit pull.
Edit: Apple Cash > 3 dots > card details > scroll down and verify
Great find OP!
