No, but you need a license to fly in any way that would be done for compensation. So anything that isn't strictly recreation - including wedding footage, roof inspection for free for a friend, and technically even footage for your own monetized YT channel.

Damn I just bought the Mini 2 Fly More Combo refurb from ebay for $440 shipped a couple weeks ago. Should I return that one and grab the Mini 3 with RC-N1 Remote option instead?

I would, but batteries are a lot more expensive on the Mini 3 too - just to keep in mind.

Shoot you're right. $65 per battery x2 = $130 + $55 for the Charging Hub = $185 extra for accessories

For $50 you should be able to buy 3 or 4 decent size cards. Just about any Sandisk, Samsung, or any major brand U3 card will work. I picked up some Amazon basics 128 gb cards for $5 each that work great in my mini 2

I've been looking at Autel nano +. I think you just have to confirm your actions but none of the unlocking yet
I have the Mavic Air 2 and encountered similar issues. Luckily, I still have my original Air and never updated the firmware so I can still fly it around my home and other areas without hassle.

As for this deal, get the 3 Pro or go home. May as well get the Mini 2 which is similar to the stripped down Mini 3.

Thinking about paying someone to fly a drone and do some shots for us if I get married this summer on vacation in the Philippines... Wondering if you guys think a Mavic 2 would be good enough, or if I should try to find someone that has something better

I got into drones for the first time last year and tried to do so cheaply. I realized pretty quickly after purchasing that the combos are well worth it. Very happy with the quality from Dji 🥰🥰

I have litchi and you can't unlock anything
You have to go through DJI first then log on to litchi
Maybe somebody can correct me on that
